Love at First Sight....

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I do, I do!

I have been twice blessed by love at first sight. This may sound like a bit of a contradiction, but trust me when it happened the second time it took nothing away from my first relationship, in fact it only added to it!

The first time was when I met my wonderful, sexy, gorgeous, not to mention kind and compassionate husband.

I saw him across a crowded room, I looked at him and he looked at me and knew he was the one for me. Anyone who knows me (well at least since I was an adult) knows that I am anything but shy. I can and will talk to anybody.

That is until the night I met my husband.....

I was overcome with shyness and could say hardly a word to him.

My second experience of love at first sight was shortly after I became a Christian and I was at a shabby old market and came across a Divine Mercy Prayer Card.

Just like the first time ....

I looked at Him and He looked at me and I knew He was the one for me.

This was My Jesus!

This image so perfectly represented the Jesus I had decided to give my life to.

I bought my little prayer card and have cherished it for years, keeping it (until recently) in the zip up bible I keep in my handbag. It is a little worse for wear and I still have it, but now in my bible there are two new Divine Mercy Prayer Cards, one for me and one for my grandson to pray together.

Actually talking of my grandson maybe falling in love at first sight is something I have done not twice, but three times......

My daughter had to have and emergency Cesarean after many hours of being in labour, so I was the first one to hold my grandson.

As I held him in my arms, I looked at him and he looked at me...

Well I'm sure you get the picture.
